Ketchikan
 Alaska
is only a 90-minute flight from Seattle on
Alaska Airlines (you’ll want to book
well in advance for the best fares). We recommend that you
rent a car in Ketchikan when you
arrive at the airport (again, book in advance). If you do not wish to rent a
vehicle we will arrange transportation from the airport to your vacation rental.
The airport is on Gravina Island, which is a 5-minute ferry ride across Tongass
Narrows to Ketchikan. The
Ketchikan Airport Ferry takes foot
passengers, as well as vehicles, and departs every half hour. Once you’re on the
Ketchikan side, head north on Tongass Highway approximately 12 miles, then turn
left on N. Point Higgins Road. Take an immediate right on Knudson Cove Road. Go
past Knudson Cover Marina and turn on to Potter Road. Follow Potter Road to the
Chinook Shores sign.
